Step 1: Place Order

Place your order online or via e-mail by the end of the day on Friday. Meal Plans - The minimum order is Meal Plan A or B. Each meal consists of a larger main dish and a smaller, complementary side dish. The serving sizes are based on the meal plan that you choose. This plan provides 6 to 8 lunches or dinners per week Serving sizes: 4 cups of each main dish and 2 cups of each side dish Price: $115 + HST This plan provides 3 to 4 lunches or dinners per week Serving sizes: 2 cups of each main dish and 1 cup of each side dish Price: $60 + HST Customizations - Please indicate any allergies, intolerances or special dietary considerations at the time of ordering. We will try to accomodate your needs as best as possible. Substitutions - You can always substitute extra of any main dish on the menu in place of another main dish you do not want. Sautéed greens (garlicky or plain), brown rice or extra of another side dish can be substituted for any side dishes you do not want. Extras - Throughout the year we offer a variety of extra dishes not included in the standard meal plans. Extras include seasonal soups, spreads/dips, lacto-fermented sauerkraut, granola, oatmeal, desserts and more. In addition to your meal plan, you can always order extra main and side dishes. Sautéed greens (garlicky or plain) and/or brown rice can also be ordered as extra side dishes.

Step 2: Delivery & Payment

Meal delivery takes place on Tuesday mornings with some flexibility. We will contact you to arrange a delivery time when you place your order. Deliveries can be made to your home or office (if you have a refrigerator). The containers are dropped off in a cooler bag that will keep them cold for up to 2 hours. Reheating instructions are provided with each cooler.  Delivery Zones - The Green Zebra delivery zone stretches from Victoria Park Avenue in the east to Kipling Avenue in the west and north to Finch Avenue. Payment - Payment can be made by cash or cheque at the time of delivery. Alternatively, payment can be made via Interac or PayPal when you place your order.

Step 3: Enjoy!

Enjoy the meals and extras for lunches, dinners and snacks throughout the week. Biodegradable Containers - All of the main and side dishes are packaged in biodegradable (corn-based) containers. You cannot put the containers in the microwave as they will melt when exposed to temperatures greater than 43°C. How to open our tamper-proof containers - the tab on the containers is connected to the bowl, not the lid. The key is to gently pull down on the tab until it releases the lid. If you pull the tab too far down you may tear the bowl. Mason Jars - Some of the extra dishes are packaged in glass mason jars. Please rinse the jars and place them in the cooler for pickup at the time of your next delivery. Cooler Pickup - It is very important that you leave your cooler bag (with mason jars and ice pack if applicable) out for our delivery person to pickup on Tuesday morning. Many of our customers leave them outside before going to bed on Monday.
